Lanesra Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

Lanesra provides automated document parsing and summarization. Users may upload contracts, leases, quotes, policies, or other text-based documents. Lanesra utilizes Large Language Models (LLMs) to identify clauses, translate jargon into plain English, and flag unusual terms based on general market data.

2. No Unauthorized Practice of Law

Lanesra strictly prohibits the use of its Services for the unauthorized practice of law. The information provided by Lanesra is for educational and informational purposes only. It is intended to help you better understand the general meaning of documents, not to instruct you on how to proceed legally.

Unlike previous services in the market that were penalized by regulatory bodies for claiming to be "robot lawyers" or promising to replace human attorneys, Lanesra explicitly disclaims any ability to act as legal counsel. We do not draft legal documents tailored to your specific circumstances, we do not represent you in disputes, and we do not guarantee any specific legal outcome.

3. Risks of Artificial Intelligence

Lanesra relies on advanced generative AI. While we strive for high accuracy, AI is fundamentally probabilistic. You acknowledge the following risks:

• Hallucinations: The AI may occasionally generate incorrect, fabricated, or nonsensical information that appears highly plausible.
• Misinterpretation: The AI may misinterpret complex legal nuances, jurisdiction-specific laws, or interconnected clauses within a document.
• Outdated Information: The AI's knowledge base may not reflect the absolute latest changes in local, state, or federal law.

Your Duty to Verify: You agree that it is solely your responsibility to verify the accuracy and completeness of any analysis provided by Lanesra by cross-referencing the original document and consulting a human professional.

4. Account Terms

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must provide a valid email address to register an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials (e.g., magic links, OAuth logins).
• You are strictly prohibited from using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including uploading illegal content or CSAM.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

Certain features of Lanesra are provided on a paid subscription or per-usage basis.

• Payments are processed securely by our payment provider (Polar). We do not store your credit card information.
• Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and are non-refundable, except where required by law.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
• We reserve the right to modify our pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any price changes affect your subscription.

6. Intellectual Property (IP)

Your Documents: You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights to any documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant Lanesra a temporary license strictly for the purpose of generating your requested analysis. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we do not use your documents to train our AI models.

Lanesra Platform: The look and feel, code, design, and generated methodologies of Lanesra are our intellectual property. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or scrape our Service without explicit written consent.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice. Common reasons for termination include violation of these Terms, abusive behavior, or using the platform for unauthorized commercial reselling of outputs.

8. General Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. Lanesra MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or completely accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lanesra, its founders, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your reliance on the Services.

If you rely on Lanesra' analysis and subsequently suffer financial loss, enter into a disadvantageous contract, or face legal penalties, you agree that Lanesra is entirely free from liability. Your use of the Service is entirely at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes via email or prominently within the application. Your continued use of the Service following any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
